TODAY was conceived in response to David Lynch's daily Weather Reports. It explores feelings of detachment and emotional malaise. By employing a voyeuristic perspective, the work emphasizes a sense of social disconnect and strikes a tone that at once enigmatic, yet conciliatory. The use of historical imagery and costume in contrast with the fantastical location further underscores the theme of feeling out-of-place and unmoored.
